About Me
Kineticseas, pronounced (Kinetic-Seas) means constant motion or deepness in comparison to the sea. It does not appear in the dictionary, nor is it a made up slang term. Kineticseas is a universal and versatile Hip-Hop music group that was formed in Yonkers, New York in 1996. The group consists of three members: Zachariah Polk (Zakar F.I.X.), Jonathan McVay (J. Mezmorize) and Clayton Hairston (Fuki). Meeting through a mutual friend, three souls came together and recognized each other’s musical talents and decided to form the group. Three years later, this multi-talented alternative Hip-Hop group, as they would call themselves, have been busy doing great things. Since the forming of Kineticseas, the group has completed their debut album titled Seance, and a pre-promotional street tape titled The Collabo, and have done all of their own producing, writing and promotion. Zakar F.I.X. has performed on the streets of New York and throughout Manhattan at Poetry Slams, he has also been Ghostwriting for aspiring artists, and worked with DMX on several projects. Solo and as a group, they has also been performing in various venues, including:

Fuki was part of a group called Nonchalant whose song Lazy Afternoon was played on Hot 97 in the mid 90’s. As Kineticseas, they have had their songs, Blah Blah Blah, Blowing Minds, Manipulation Source and Rein Dance played on Power 88 in the year 2001.
Kineticseas has garnered considerable acclaim for their collective creativity. They are a phenomenal group with diverse backgrounds in the music industry. J. Mez’s production is incredibly original and probably impossible to duplicate, he has also produced for many underground artists. Zakar F.I.X’s lyrics are mind bending and extremely visual and Fuki’s voice is a combination of Funk and Soul with a twist that people wait anxiously to hear. Overall, Kineticseas is an energetic and phenomenal group bringing a whole new vibe to music and mind. They truly live up to the band’s name. Listen and you will find yourself unable to stop the body and mind from grooving.
