I can recall a time when Hip hop was a new born and Pioneers Like Africa Bam .......Kool dj Redd Alert ....Jazzy Jay and the Zulu Nation Rocked the underground Radio in the WEE HOURS of the morn on WHBI.
Then came The Worlds Famous Supreme Team ..... The Mister magic Rapp attack Featuring soon to be Super Producer and Dj Marley Marl .
Then other shows surfaced Like The Original Awesome 2 Donald B Special K AND DJ Teddy Ted . As Hip Hop evolved then Came The DNA AND HANK LOVE SHOW And the rest is Hip Hop.
I remember as a shory having to take naps to listen to these legends in the making come on Pirate radio 2 to 6am in the morning.
Not knowing the impact that was going to be left on me decades later my intrest in Hip Hop grew . . I was that one that you always seen at the Park Jams standing by the dj looking on CLOSELY AS the dj rubbed the record back and forth and later named that trick SCRATCHING.
Being a quick learner not to long after i was featured in many
CONEY ISLAND BROOKLYN PARK BATTLES
Bearly able to reach the WHEELS OF STEELS i stood on 2 creates of records and displayed my skills
Years pasted and my hunger and love for HIP HOP took on different meanings and reached a new level.
i wasn't satified with the records i wanted to know how to make one.
I Was blessed to meet my 1st mentor Bernard Simmons Of New Rythem Productions in Harlem .
There at his studio he showed me the basics of making deom tapes on 4 track recorders. Not long after i meet my other mentor George *dr dee* Duncan of Visionary Mix Productions.
There with my general knowledge of demo making and DJ Skills i was taught how to work the mixing boards and i was off making music ever since ,The love continues to grow .
