HooLi was first introduced to the sounds of jungle/drum n’ bass through the sounds of the Prophecy airwaves back in 1996. In 2000, she moved to Waterloo to attend Wilfrid Laurier University to study Political Science and Business Administration.In her spare time, HooLi held down the University’s first female drum n’ bass residency on RadioLaurier.com. At the beginning of her DJ career, HooLi held a residency at the local McGinnis FrontRow sports bar in Waterloo. HooLi moved on to her 3rd year at Laurier and was the resident DJ at The TURRET campus nightclub where she spun an eclectic mix of Top 40 along with a little taste of drum n’ bass!
HooLi has been DJing for almost 6 years-with 5 years under her belt rinsin’ the sounds of jungle/drum n’ bass. Now residing in Milton and finished her degree, her schedule is getting booked and she now enjoys taking others TO school----on the decks that is!
Currently, PRiMe iLL and HooLi (the bf vs. gf dnb tag team combo now known as HEAVY GRINDAGE) are being booked as a B2B duo all over Ontario!
