... and music is the best.

About Me

Acoustic and electric bass. Music production and recording. Brooklyn, NY.
I just finished a new album called "Last Stand At The Havemeyer Ranch." The first 3 tunes in the player are from the album. Stylistically it goes from afrobeat to reggae to R&B.
Big thanks go out to all the musicians listed at the left for putting so much of themselves onto these recordings.
You can download the whole thing for free at: www.gro-beak.com/LastStand
The 3rd to last tune is by singer and songwriter Mamie Minch . Its from her new album which I recorded and mixed up here at The Ranch. The cd was hand printed in a limited edition and I believe is available at CD Baby .
The 2nd to last tune is a remix by DJ Monk-One of Luz Mob's instrumental cover of the Cumbia classic "Tabaco y Ron". I'm playing an Ampeg Baby Bass on this one. Its been put out on '45 by one of my favorite labels, Names You Can Trust . There's a shit ton of good music up on their site.
The last track, Vermont Dub, is on the Dutch EP. You can find that one here: www.gro-beak.com/dutch
