I have many interests but photography is the one I always return to. I have a camera with me almost everywhere I go. I take pictures of everything. I like going on road trips in search of things to photograph. Old buildings, graveyards, forests, mountain streams, wildlife. I like to photograph buildings, bridges, tunnels, factories, or anything industrial. I love to photograph people. I like to do portraits, but more avante-garde. I create a temporary living sculpture by wrapping a body in any number of different materials, then I capture it permanently in a black and white photograph.
I have many other interests such as drawing, welding, woodworking, mechanics, web design, CSS, PHP, etc. I'll stop here.
Artists and creative people that THINK for themselves. Anyone who would like to SHARE their knowledge or collaborate with me. Anyone who loves to LEARN. People who are awake at 4am. People who like Edgar Allan Poe. People who want to contribute to my experiments. I'd like to share my artwork and photography with as many people as possible, and hopefully make a few new FRIENDS in the process. If you like my work and want to be a part of upcoming projects, let me know.
About Me:
I'm BOTH an ARTIST and a professional photographer. I create ART for the sake of creating and for no other reason. My OPINION is that my commercial photography is NOT ART, just nice photography. I try to SAY SOMETHING with my art. Maybe it will SPEAK to YOU. My art is not about nudity, it is about the human form interacting with our environment- Organic vs. Industrial
In 2005 I created a web site all about EDGAR ALLAN POE, www.PoeStories.com . I'm extremely proud of this site because it is being used by both teachers and students worldwide. Poe is best known for his poem, "The Raven" and his dark, twisted tales of horror. He also created the detective story and wrote many other interesting works.

About MySpace:
I don't want a million people in my friends list but if you're another artist or creative person, please send me a message and at least let me know what you think of my artwork. I don't add people who don't say hello (unless I've met you in person of course).

I have VERY ecclectic tastes in music. I'm not a SLAVE to any particular genre, and I don't listen to the RADIO much anymore because its all corporate nonsense. Yeah and I don't like country. I like Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin and Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. If you haven't heard either of those, you should. Here are some others I like...
Ministry
NIN
Front242
Dead Can Dance
Depeche Mode
Filter
Crystal Method
Funker Vogt
Faith & the Muse
Evanescence
Helmet
KMFDM
PJ Harvey
Tori Amos
Underworld
Soundgarden
Lisa Gerrard
Christopher Lawrence
and on and on...
A passion for photography naturally leads to an interest in films. My favorites include...
"Pulp Fiction"
"Blade Runner"
"Edward Scissorhands"
"Fight Club"
"Mad Max"
"The Crow"
"Natural Born Killers"
"Reservoir Dogs"
"Trainspotting"
"Usual Suspects"
"Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon"
"Seven"
"Memento"
"American History X"
"Koyaanisqatsi"

anything by Stanley Kubrick: "The Shining", "A Clockwork Orange", "Full Metal Jacket", etc;
anything by David Lynch: "Dune", "Lost Highway", "Mulholland Drive", etc.
many more...
I don't watch much television. I refuse to pay some ridiculous amount of money each month for cable or satellite just so I can watch the Discovery Channel.
"Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson,
"Pattern Recognition" by William Gibson,
"Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk,
"The Witching Hour" by Anne Rice,
"Art of War" by Sun Tzu,
"The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran,
"The Way to Love" by Anthony De Mello,
"The Giaour" by Lord Byron,
"De Profundis" by Oscar Wilde,
"Letters From Earth" by Mark Twain,
"The Trial" by Franz Kafka,
some Nietzsche,
anything by H.P. Lovecraft,
and of course ANYTHING by Edgar Allan Poe.
The people who made this country great by thinking of what they could do for everyone, not what they could do for themselves. People we take for granted because their pictures are printed on our money. People like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Where are those kinds of people today?
Any of the artists who created because they loved doing it, not because they knew it would sell. People like Ansel Adams, Salvador Dali, and Andy Warhol.
