About Me

Profile edited with CricketSoda's Myspace Editor

These are a sampling of the incentive sketch cards I did for Rittenhouse Archives "Women of Marvel" set in early 2008.

..

These are some of the sketch cards I have done for TOPPs' "Lord of the Rings: Masterpieces" set. I was a participating sketch card artist in the "Lord of the Rings: Evolution" set as well.

My Interests

traveling, drawing, collecting comic related artwork, getting thinner than I am now.... okay, so maybe don't send baked goods.

I'd like to meet:

People that would like to hire me to do artwork for them professionally. Also, people that enjoy comics and comic art... Ooooooh! And anyone wanting to send me presents or baked goods! And Kittens and Old English Sheep Dogs! I'd like to meet them too!

A small selection of cards I drew for the Heroes Season One set for Topps.

Movies:

I've a serious soft spot for Kill Bill, both I & II, and will forever love Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Phillipa Boyens for the three Lord of the Rings films. But Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back will eternally be favorites of mine. Even though neither one features sheepdogs, kittens OR cookies.

Television:

I wish I had the time to get caught up on Battle Star Galactica, LOST, My Name is Earl, 30 Rock and a few others. I wish I had HBO, so I could be weeks and weeks behind on all their amazing progamming....

Books:

Anything by Tom Robbins; the man is a genious and a perv, all at once! Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchet's GOOD OMENS (its like reading Monty Python). All of the Harry Potter novels. As a young child, I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy 7 times in a row.... it still reads as brilliantly today as it did then. And do graphic novels count? If so; go buy FABLES by Bill Willingham; you are missing out on some good stuff! Shoot... if I'm gonna list graphic novels; some of my all time, most influencial reads have been (in no particular order): ELEKTRA ASSASIN masterfully illustrated by art-legend Bill Sienkiewicz, RONIN by Frank Miller, ELEKTRA LIVES AGAIN by Miller and Lynn Varley (god can that woman color!), WOLVERINE AND HAVOK: MELTDOWN by the sickeningly talented Walt and Louise Simonson, and as if THAT wasn't a good enough reason to read it? The painted pages are like poetry...painted by Jon J Muth and Kent Williams. So good!

Heroes:

Chuck Jones for showing me how powerful art and humor can be. George Lucas for showing me that even the most overwhelming evil can be brought down by determination and interesting hair styles.
