About Me

Town Hall Stompers play American stringband music. They approach the old-time tradition with reverence, infusing their own ideas and character to deliver a sound and style uniquely their own. In their songbag are early country, blues, Appalachian, minstrel, Irish, ragtime, Ozark, and whatever else they fancy.

Originally conceived during a beer release party at the Town Hall Brewery, the group had an immediate name. After more than a year of semi-regular & informal jams at the Brewery, they are taking their show out to local venues.

Performances will include the core group and also guest musicians, appearing almost as a variety show. You could find them in your local bar, neighborhood cafe, park on a sunny day, country dance, street corner, or festival. .. ..
