I am a huge fan of roots music and play in a stringband called Pert' Near Sandstone. I also tool around with a couple of the fellas in that band, along with some more friends in a band called the Town Hall Stompers. I have a day job. I live in South Minneapolis just outside the Seward neighborhood.
I think we live in an ever expanding global market that will eventually fold in on itself because of it's weakening effect on the fabric of local communities. BE LOCAL. Support the arts, support your neighbors, buy local, support responsibility and kindness. We are our only hope.
