www.parkour-videos.com... I'd make them play better music and stuff. Then we could all, like, hang... y'know?
'Ride on Time' By Black Box, 'Scattered Pearls' by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, 'We all have a map of the piano' by Mum, 'There is a light that never goes out' by The Smiths, 'Franz Kafka is Dead' by The Valentinos (one remix but I forget who did it), 'City Calm Down,' by Architechture in Helsinki, 'Fists up' by The Blow and 'Y control' by the Yeah yeah yeahs... sorry... love the hell out of these songs.
Recently: I'm drawing a blank. Everything I have seen recently has been sort of annoying. I hated 'Children of Men' except for one or two of the action scenes, but overall that movie had no redeaming commentary and mostly just pretended to have a plot. I was shocked by how pointless 'Babel' was because it was supposed to be profound... I think that like 'Crash' it was trying to be 'Traffic' and failing miserably out of lack of a tangible point. 'Stranger than fiction' utilized similar things to 'I 3 Huckabees' and 'Adaptation' but still remained enjoyable and uplifting, but I was mostly annoyed. 'Pan's Labyrinth' tried too hard but had a nice ending... too bad it isn't suitable for what should have been its prime audience = children. 'Eagle vs. Shark' was just boring and irritating. I guess I mostly liked 'Volver'.
Viacom... flip back and forth between vh1 and comedy central and occasionally mtv. Do they own CMT too? I love them, they're the best company.
The Fortress of Solitude (Jonathan Lethem), Giovanni's Room (James Baldwin), Rumors of Peace (Ella Lefland), Kurt Vonnegut, C Bard Cole, Dennis Cooper, David Wjnarovich (sp?), One Hundred Years of Solitude (Gabriel Garcia Marquez), The Man Who Fell in Love With the Moon (I forget the author's name), queer NON-EROTICA short stories, Fun Home (Alison Bechdel), Teen Titans, Invisibles, Justice League... I just started reading the martian manhunter comic but am not sure I like it. He's just not the same j'on j'onzz.
