About Me

Working feverishly for the last ten years, Seattle-based DJ, turntablist, producer and "techno activist" Devin Kelly has established himself as one of the most dedicated people at the core of the West Coast underground. Whether it's through performing coast-wide under the Adlib moniker or throwing Northwest events as People of Earth (POE) productions, he is constantly striving to share his love of dance music with everyone he meets, building bridges between communities and creating an impressive performance resume' in the process.
Adlib had his first exposure to dance music came while attending a Salt Lake City rave on Halloween of 1997. At only 17 years old, he was both incredibly impressionable and idealistic, and he was immediately hooked by what he saw as a forward-thinking music and lifestyle. He jumped headfirst into DJing and promoting and he hasn't looked back since. His first DJ gigs were in Boise, Idaho in the summer of 1998. By 2000, he was regularly playing a wide range of dance music at 1000+ person parties across Idaho and Utah and promoting several of his own major events each year.
Adlib performed at hundreds of events in his home state of Idaho, where he was instrumental in building the now legendary late 90s rave community. Since then, he has headlined parties and club nights across the Western United States and internationally, playing alongside dance music heroes such as DJ Dan, Doc Martin, Garth and Jeno, Josh Wink, Dylan Rhymes, Egyptian Lover, Christopher Lawrence, Alice Deejay, Deepsky, Captain Tinrib, John Kelley, Chris Fortier and countless others.
Adlib currently lives in Seattle, where his genre-defying yet progressive mixture of darker house, breaks, techno, acid and electro is building his reputation as a truly dedicated underground performer. You can find him regularly playing long sets at many of Seattle’s more cutting edge dance music events, and at underground parties across the Western United States. In 2006 alone he headlined events in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and his old stomping grounds of Boise and Salt Lake City. As head of P.O.E., he also promotes events in Washington, Oregon, California and Idaho, where he is co-promoter of Esthetic Evolution, one of the most diverse, successful and forward thinking electronic music and art festivals in the Northwest.
