BROOKLYN JAZZ UNDERGROUND

a new, vibrant collective of jazz musicians

About Me

The Brooklyn Jazz Underground is an association of independent bandleaders with a shared commitment to improvised music. Through cooperative effort, members of the BJU strive to create greater awareness of their work.
Each of the tracks in the music player is a mini-compilation of the music of different members of the collective: the first track has, in order, music by Anne Mette Iversen, Sunny Jain, Tanya Kalmanovitch and Benny Lackner, the second track has music by Alexis Cuadrado, Shane Endsley and Alan Ferber, the third track has music by Ted Poor, Dan Pratt and Jerome Sabbagh.
