I was born in 1980 and I’ve been studying and dedicating all my efforts to music since I was 18. I started at the Hot Club Jazz School and at the Academia de Amadores de Música (Classical music school), both in Lisbon. I got my first paid gig around the year 2000 and I’ve been playing with all sorts of formations since then. In 2003, I went to Berklee College of Music, from where I got a bachelors degree in Film scoring in 2005. Currently, I try to write music and to play as much as I can with some of my friends and favorite musicians.
