To Students in the United States and throughout the WorldDear Fellow Students,The people in Burma are desperate for a change, and they are desperate for our help. And only with your help and support, can they realize their dreams of freedom; we enthusiastically sympathize with the people of Burma. The innocent people and the monks are sacrificing their lives to restore fundamental human rights and freedom in their beloved country. They, oppressed by the ruthlessness of the junta, cannot do it alone. We, the United Art Students, desperately urges the new generation of students worldwide to actively participate in the efforts to end Burma’s death era and help achieve human rights throughout the world. We call upon students in every region of the United States who believe in the fundamentals of human rights to fight for freedom, by means of non-violence, for the fifty-eight million people of Burma. Anything is possible when we come together for a single cause. We plead with you to help the efforts toward freedom in Burma and to put an end to all the painful, unjustified sufferings the Burmese people have endured for decades. Within every one of us lies the power to change the world. As long as injustice and oppression prevails, each of us bears the responsibility to defend those who are abused. Please help the people in Burma. Let us save Burma and cease all crimes against humanity throughout the world. Subject: Students Demonstration For Sympathy in front of Chinese Consulate. US Art Students stand for “THE LADY,” The world’s only imprisoned Noble Peace Prize recipient, and her cause for the 55 million oppressed people of Burma.U.A.S“ The United Art students are proud to campaign for the release of Aung San Suu Kyi and support 50 million oppressed Burma. June 19th will be Aung San Suu Kyi’s 62nd birthday, and will be spending it under house arrest for the 11th year. We the students deeply emphasize her cause of fighting for the 50 millions of freedom therefore we are showing our solidarity with Aung San Suu Kyi and all Burmese who live in a prison state,we are holding a demonstration in front of Chinese consulate. Because we understand that The Chinese government is on of the main supporter of this Burma brutal regime. We had dressed in prison garb and demonstrating as arresting our self celebrating imprisonment birthday for the Lady and the cause of Burma This historic campaign of (United State Art Students), our first ever protest seeks a statement by the People’s Republic of China to cease supporting the illegal and oppressive regime in Burma through arms agreements and the recent action on blocking the United Nation Security and opposing to the international communitiesThe crisis in Burma has been on the permanent agenda of the United Nations Security Council. The United Nations Security Council has supported numerous countries similar to Burma. However, they blocked from taking action in Burma by China and Russia. The military of Burma recruits children soldiers as young as the age of twelve, has destroyed over 3,000 villages in Eastern Burma, and forced over two million to flee their homes. The abuses by this unelected government consists of religious persecution, population relocation, forced child labor, the absence of free press, the development of illicit narcotics, and an ever-growing sex trade. Therefore we had experienced the consequences of systematic persecution to the leaders and killing hundreds of human rights supporter in may 30 2003 and We have concern for the human rights students leaders and fear for their safety, therefore we oppose the fake civilians systematically organize by Regime. We support and welcome the appeals for her release backed by 59 former world leaders and prime ministers, and members of the US Congress from both sides of the aisle. In light of many leaders from around the world calling for the release of Aung San Suu Kyi and all political prisoners, and then to have the calls blatantly ignored by the regime.Burma campaign has arisen at a critical time. As the media continues to highlight the conflict in the Middle East, the systematic persecution of innocent civilians and supporters of human rights and democracy in Burma has been overlooked by the mainstream press of the U.S. and overseas. The time to act is now, and your support for this movement will make a difference in the lives of so many people in need.We believe the only way to develop human rights and Democracy is by the means of a peaceful movement. Therefore we seek the voice of the people and students from around the world. Together, we, the students can use our voices through student organizations and international campaigning to express our sympathy and support for freedom and Democracy in Burma.UNITED ART STUDENTS (FORGOTTEN WORLDS GROUP)Email [email protected] Copy to International , US congress
