Music:

This is a Burmese music video dedicated to Aung San Suu Kyi, Key member of the National League for Democracy in Burma, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and symbol of hope for the people of Burma. She has been in and out of House arrest since 1990. The house arrest is so severe that until this month, the road to her house has been closed off to the public with barricades. Learn more at http://www.dassk.org/index.php .

Movies:

Produced by the Free Burma Rangers, this video gives an introduction to the refugee and Internally Displaced People's status in the jungles between Burma and Thailand. This is just but one major problem of such a beautiful country and people.

In Hiding: A year of survival under the Burma Army 2004-2005

"In Hiding" is a detailed account of human rights abuses committed by the Burma Army against ethnic minorities inside Burma over one year. It is an unrelenting documentary of disturbing images and firsthand stories, unadulterated evidence that the brutal military dictatorship of Burma continues its tyranny, and yet the film shows a people who resist the Burma Army and despite incredible difficulty have hope.
