Last Year's Youth

"I'm so sick of everything, I'm so sick of it all"

About Me

Last Year's Youth formed in August of 1994 in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A by two friends, Big D and Brian P. A young kid named Gabe soon joined us on bass, and we went through a couple of drummers until finding Doc Rayden in 1996. Sometime in late '98 Brian left the band. We moved Gabe to lead guitar and brought in "Big City" Jim Joe Ulrich on bass. LYY broke up sometime in December of '99/ January 2000.We released a demo tape (remember those) and a 7" on Final Vinyl Records in 1996, both entitled "God Save The Youth". We released the "Modern Living" EP on GMM Records in 1998. We were also featured on several comps--"Skins & Pins Volume 1" (GMM), "Punks Not Dead-Tribute to The Exploited" (Radical Records), "We'll Punk You Up" (Stumble Records), "Midwest Rules Volume 1" (Haunted Town).Unfortunately, Brian died in 2002. We played a reunion/ tribute show in November 2003.Currently, we are working on finishing a full-length CD for Disconnected Records. This CD should be released sometime in 2007.
