About Me

Hi! My name is Helen and I am the Co-Founder of SPIRIT Investigations based out of Jacksonville, FL. I am a member of AA-EVP and a member and local area representative for the American Ghost Society (www.prairieghosts.com, and a Florida state IPI Representative (International Paranormal Investigators-See below).
Our team has about 11 paranormal investigators dedicated to proving that there is life after death. Our team investigates residential and commercial properties, and historic landmarks. Basically anywhere paranormal activity has been recorded you may find us!
SPIRIT Investigations was founded in 2004. Our team did not start there though. Our Co-founders and some other members have been investigating paranormal activity for alot longer. It was in 2004 we decided our area needed a more professionlly dedicated team to research paranormal phenomena and thus SPIRIT Investigations was born! In those 2 years since our team was founded we have investigated such places as the Old Jail and Spanish Military Hospital in St Augustine, FL, the Homestead Restaurant and the Atlantic Beach Comedy Club in Jacksonville, FL, the Tabu Nightclub in Orlando, FL, and the Cedar Key Hotel in Cedar Key, FL. We have also conducted numerous private residence investigations all throughout the states of Florida and Georgia. We have even gone as far as Gettysburg, PA and California to investigate paranormal events.
Our main goal as a team is to conduct investigations with honesty and compassion. We do not charge for any of our services. We do not feel it is right to charge for helping people out. We love to help anyone who is experiencing any unexplained activity and welcome comments or questions, no matter what your beliefs may be.Our team loves meeting new teams near us or when we travel! My Interests

I love to conduct paranormal investigations (go figure!), travel all over the world (please see my pics) and visit historical sites. I'm also the webmaster of the SPIRIT Investigations website and my husband and I are licensed foster parents. We have a daughter who is 13. That plus working full-time really keeps me busy! I absolutely wouldn't change my life for the world, even when I feel like giving up I keep going! I love every minute and it is very rewarding! Movies:

The following videos were shot at the Spanish Military Hospital in St Augustine, FL. We had 1 camera on one side of the door and 1 camera on the other side of the door during our investigation. On 3 occasions the latch lifted on it's own and jingled when nobody was on either side of the door.
