THE BRIEF HISTORY
Callous is a hard hitting rock band with powerful screams, and heart felt melodies sure to catch your attention upon first listen. Everything from the music, to the lyrics, to the overall vibe within their albums is driven by pure emotion. But this is only half of what defines Callous. After listening to their music in your car, at home, or on the net, you have to complete your experience with a live show. The intensity, musicianship, and raw emotion is clearly obvious during all live performances. What you see, is what you get. Their name is Callous, and they are here to make an impression on the world of music. So pay attention.
The band was founded by Michael Wood Jr. in the summer of ’04 in Jacksonville, Fl and continues stronger than ever to this day. Since their debut show on March 24th, 2005 the band has played shows all around Florida, and including national tours reaching fans up and down the east coast of the US. The current line-up is: Michael Wood Jr. (Vocals), Austin Fadley (Drums), Johnny Ringo (Guitars), Sean Humphreys (Guitars), and Reik-o (Bass). The band is currently writing and recording their 2nd full length album scheduled to be released in as soon as humanly possible. Following their cd release, you can expect nothing but non-stop regional, and national tours throughout the rest of 2008. So, if you have the chance to catch Callous live in concert DO NOT miss out!
