Buddy Lee Dobberteen is the product of former U.S. Marine Mel Dobberteen. Mel began writing and performing music in 1998 in a little back woods town. His music resembles artists such as Aaron Lewis of Staind and Lifehouse. He draws inspiration from the pain of his past and growing up and serving in war torn Iraq to the life saving change that helped him through them. Buddy Lee Dobberteen brings you the passion and rawness of acoustic rock with a little country soul. Buddy Lee Dobberteen has recently preformed in local coffee houses, churches, and youth groups and he has even been seen at the Crystal Cathedral, Nashville SongWriters Festival and on the Fox Morning Show playing with some of the hottest Texas musicians.
