TODAY IS THE DAY PART #2 ~~~~Oh, yes! ~ Today is the day! ~~~~ Today is the day~ I make idle conversation with a parent, ~ Or~ Grandparent!Today is the day~ I make sure I do the dishes for my mom~ Thus she can sit down~ And watch~ The Ophra Winfrey show she loves so.Today is the day~ I mow the lawn for my father~ Therefore, ~ He can take a ride to the adopted official coffee house in town~ Where~ His old cronies’ hold their daily social meeting. Giving dad more quality Time to talk, ~ And~ Tell jokes a little ~ More in his life.~~~~~ Today is the day~ I take some time to read to, ~ Or~ Play a game with~ My children. Today is the day~ I send the care package to my college kiddo,~ Or~ I will send the card I have not bought yet for a friend’s birthday. ~~~~Today will be the day! ~~~~Today will be the day ~ I for no reason will~ Give my wife a compliment, ~ And without her asking for help ~ lend a hand at her chores~ So~ She can relax earlier this evening. Today’s the day~ I will spend some extra effort,~ And time~ Coaxing my wife away for a~ valuable~ “LLOOOVVVvvvvEE walk. TODAY IS THE DAY! Part #3 Today’s the day ~ I give my boyfriend praise for being an exceptional him, Perfect for me in everyway. ~~~~ Today is the day~ I reach out and say~ (“I love you” “no matter what”) ~ One more time~ To~ My confused,~ Angry,~ Begrudging teenager ~ In which my “x” scornfully, ~ Or~ Possibly in advert-ly Heartened ~ Wrongfully, ~ Or.. Rightly to be~ Estranged from me. Today is the day~ I will check on my neighbor.I will touch my fellow man’s lives with Good Samaritan care~ I will make sure I am in tuned to~ And~ Aware of my Brethren needs~I will make certain my fellow citizen is not suffering from~ depression, ~ Oppression, ~ Loneliness~ Hunger, ~ Sickness~ Or~ Abuse of any kind! ~I will know to assist my neighbor~ No matter the~ Embarrassment,~ or~ Consequence~I will know to help my fellow man ~ Whether they are wealthy,~ Or~ Poor, ~ No matter if, ~ They are~ Young,~ Or~ Old. Today will be the day!~~~~Today is the day ~ I will e-mail~ Or~ Call at least one friend to~ Catch up with them.~I will be sure to let my pal know I care.~ I will wish my friend a happy week!Today is the day ~ I will stop and help the dog lost. ~ I will make sure the wandering skittish cat~ Is not ~ Homeless and starving.Today is the day! Part #4 Last Part ~~~~Today is the day ~ I’ will volunteer to lend a hand some where for something,~ If only it is helping with someone’s bags in~ A stores parking lot.Yes, today is the day!
