About Me

If you read my general interests: music, heroes etc., and still want to know more about me, well here you go.
I’m at “myspace" to meet new and old, interesting people. I’m very compassionate, enjoy peoples company, love to philosophize, analogize, socialize, etc....
Philosophy
Love and pursuit of wisdom by intellectual means and moral self-discipline. Investigation of the nature, causes, or principles of reality, knowledge, or values, based on logical reasoning rather than empirical methods. A system of thought based on or involving such inquiry: the philosophy of Hume. The critical analysis of fundamental assumptions or beliefs. The disciplines presented in university curriculums of science and the liberal arts, except medicine, law, and theology. The discipline comprising logic, ethics, aesthetics, metaphysics, and epistemology. A set of ideas or beliefs relating to a particular field or activity; an underlying theory: an original philosophy of advertising. A system of values by which one lives: has an unusual philosophy of life.
Analogy
Logic. a form of reasoning in which one thing is inferred to be similar to another thing in a certain respect, on the basis of the known similarity between the things in other respects. Similarity in some respects between things that are otherwise dissimilar. A comparison based on such similarity. Correspondence in function or position between organs of dissimilar evolutionary origin or structure. A form of logical inference or an instance of it, based on the assumption that if two things are known to be alike in some respects, then they must be alike in other respects. 1: an inference that if things agree in some respects they probably agree in others 2: drawing a comparison in order to show a similarity in some respect; "the operation of a computer presents and interesting analogy to the working of the brain"; "the models show by analogy how matter is built up"

I Love the Travels that I have done, and want to do more of course. You can learn so much by seeing how other people live, shop, culture, and so much more. My favoite places I have gone.
Cario, Egypt ~It was my dream, did the whole tour of pyramids, etc!!!!!
Here's me standing on a pyramid
Europe ~ I'm 100% Solvenian. So I have visited the surrounding contries like, Austria, Italy etc. Slovenija, is the "Sunny Side of the Alps," which is beautiful, and all my relatives still live there.
Jamicia ~ Beautiful, but should not be so poor as it is!
I’m pretty open minded, and understand that everyone has their own issues, and their own ideas, yet, I don’t want to change them, but mostly learn from them, and to learn more about myself.
"I scowled because I had no shoes on my feet, until further down the street I saw a man with no feet at all."~Persian Proverb~
It's good that way too, because if we all thought, the same thoughts, about everything, where would the LEARNING come from?
I’m hear only a little a day, and I don’t want to spend all my time deleting! So please don’t try to sell to me, I get enough of that in my “real” life. If you want me as a freind, please send me a message first. Sorry If I don’t accept all invitations, or delete them. I do my best by checking out the profiles, then adding/keeping them if I deem worthy. (I don’t want my bulletin board more full with adds & such). So Please Respect.
I’m not an envious person. Like the rich/famous/lucky, doesn’t bother me. When I was younger, I was different, but now with knowledge, I see life in a different view. Remember $ doesn’t always buy happiness, and beauty is only skin deep, and life is too short, so enjoy it, with what you have. But of course do what matters to you.
Don’t be someone you are not, but be someone who you are.
After Suffering comes Sunshine.
I do believe in Faith, “Faith, I do believe.” –Rusted Root
As so many people before me, I don’t believe you have to go to church to believe in something, or to be a better person because you attend church. Or that you have to conform to one religion. I have my own strong beliefs & faiths, which I truly believe in. Each & everyday, a miracle, coincidence, experience, education, justifies them even more. It's about questioning everything.
"You can only see as far as you think"~unknown~
Children are the soooo important!
I’m very artistic is everything I do. I see earths beautiful colors, and I need to apply them all over, my home, office, my gardens, myspace, my life, etc.
Happiness & silliness go hand in hand
ONE, little thing I do, is by passing the happiness through me, onto others, so they can pass it on, and cause a good chain reaction, and maybe everyone can smile more! Is that really too much to ask sometimes? I want to change the world in so many ways, so I try spreading it from my inner circle.
If more people have Compassion, there would be less fighting! or,
If everyone has Compassion, there would be no fighting!

Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.

I do believe in everything I write, & being true to myself. ~SmileyMonica~
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.

You scored as Idealist
Idealism centers around the belief that we are moving towards something greater. An odd mix of evolutionist and spiritualist, you see the divine within ourselves, waiting to emerge over time. Many religious traditions express how the divine spirit lost its identity, thus creating our world of turmoil, but in time it will find itself and all things will again become one.

My Interests

Love concerts that ROCK MY SOUL & dancing my butt off! And I love playin' the tamborine!

As for work, I own T's N Taps Smiley Dyes,
aka smileydyes.com

for the past 13 years. I work a lot, but I love it.
It's a cool "Hippy Store" in Lombard, IL, and we do tee shirt printing & tie dyeing too.
I married my high school sweetheart Bert,

and have two lovely children, a girl & boy.

I'm artistic in many fields like coloring (adding color to daily life, gardening, blowing glass, making tie dyes, and painting/coloring art, sewing).

I go in tangents. When I focus on something and want to get it done, It gets done!!

In my spare time I love reading, hanging out with friends, watching movies, snowboarding, learning new things, spending quality time with my kids, being active & out doors, camping, being productive, traveling, talking to people, and of course sleeping.

..

It’s OK to dream, but remember your reality is now.
Make your life count!

I'd like to meet:

Widespread Panic (a while back)
..
after seeing them many times, but front row at both Bonnaroo '05 and Milwaukee '06, they blew my mind away...
They were my Guru for the night

Ben Harper is amazing on so many levels, I would love to conversate with him:).

Besides them anyone else who has a brain (or at least uses it once and a while), true to them self, and wants to have a conversation.

IN ANY ORDER IS FINE WITH ME!

What the Bleep Do We Know?! Full Movie .. The topics discussed in What the Bleep Do We Know!? include neurology, quantum physics, psychology, epistemology, ontology, metaphysics, magical thinking and spirituality. The film features interviews with individuals presented as experts in science and spirituality, interspersed with the story of a deaf photographer as she struggles with her situation. Computer-animated graphics feature heavily in the film. The film has received widespread criticism from the scientific community. Physicists, in particular, claim that the film grossly misrepresents the meaning of various principles of quantum mechanics, and is in fact pseudoscience. The comments of those presented as scientific experts converge on a single theme: "We all create our own reality." This is not a widely held view of physics by the scientific community, but it correlates well with subjective experience.

Truly, MY FAMILY, & people who do kind things for others with out wanting something in return. I can’t remember names of all the people I met, who have transformed me to be who I am today. They all showed me something good or bad, which I learned from. I believe, if you don’t learn from experiences, mistakes, hardships, etc., you won’t grow as a human being & prosper.
