"I have learned, as a rule of thumb, never to ask whether you can do something. Say, instead, that you are doing it. Then fasten your seat belt. The most remarkable things follow."
Julia Cameron
“In your light I learn how to love.
In your beauty, how to make poems.
You dance inside my chest,
where no one sees you. But sometimes I do, And that sight becomes this artâ€
Rumi

Music:
"Rock n roll aint noise pollution..." Ac~Dc
I put a great CD on and suddenly my mind opens p and the ideas are like a bear finding honey in a tree.
The Bee Gees, Foreigner, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Schenker, Journey, Elvis, 3Doors Down, Y&T, The Back Street Boyz, and Hall and Oates… Ecclectic treasures from all over. I am extremely diverse in my taste in music. I love B-sides and selections that one finds on the album that never make airplay. I can almost find at least one song in almost any genre I can groove to. Some I love more than others. Read on...
Please check out Jimmy McG!
My Hero who plays guitar!...
My favorite song is Liar's Moon.
For the genre of hard-rock and "hair-metal," I have a story to tell. Imagine a young man growing up in the 70's,
influenced by the 80's, who had dreamed of playing an instrument, watching the likes of Eddie VanHalen do his magic... (among countless other bands of that virtuosic era,) and yet being deprived of music education as a child. He sits down as a nineteen year old and begins to teach himself, unable to not reach out and grab it a moment longer. Rock music isn't always accepted by everyone but he persevered and ignored the many dirty looks and digs. Nay-sayers remarking that playing an instrument is stupid. (The experts now say it builds brain power. Um YEAH!) Despite all sorts of odds, including personal doubt, lack of locations to play and the scarcity of musicians to jam with, he keeps on, teaching himself and building himself a riotous garden of sound and ability.
Today he has a myspace site with over 10,000 hits{!!!}, a plethora of soulful and innovative material, has a whole slew of devoted fans and has made himself into an amazing, accomplished and unique musician. That man s my man, Jimmy McG. I'm more than proud of him. Here's to being influenced by music. Here's to those that always hear music.

My Grandmas... My straight A kids.
My man for becoming such a fluent and dynamic musician. He's got a heart of gold too. He's strong and so smart. He also has an intuition that women would envy. I like his laugh and his smile. His hands are talented in so many ways! He will achieve miraculous things in life, and I am blessed to be in his corner.

Wayne Dyer
~ Or the fictional masters; nothing beats Nora Roberts, Stella Cameron or Kathleen Woodiwiss…
The Course In Miracles is amazing from what I hear, and something I have yet to delve into. The Urantia Book is a spiritual adventure much akin to exploring Alaska. I've visited often but haven't begun to even touch upon the vastness of it.
"As we let our light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others."
Marianne Williamson
