The Venue is a weekly 30 minute program based in Anchorage, Alaska that is dedicated to showcasing the best of local and national music, film, and the arts. The Venue has moved to a new time so you can catch us at 4:00pm every Saturday on KYES Channel 5.
October sees The Venue entering it's fifth season with even more music videos, short films and a wider variety of material to be shown!
The last two seasons of The Venue has showcased music videos by local acts such as Janet Martin, Jared Woods, Woodrow, JEB, The Noid, Crystal Hutchens, Stephen Hendricks, Joker The Bailbondsman, and more! It has also showcased music videos by national & worldwide acts such as The Killers, Johnny Cash, Fatboy Slim, Oasis, Bjork, Alanis Morissette, Weezer, U2 and more! Season 3 also showcased a local short film entitled, "Ringo".
