I've come a long way, baby! I can honestly say I like who I am and I'm loving my life. It's not because of anything but finally accepting myself and others and enjoying the process of this life. I truly used to say,"I hate my life. I hate my life." but nobody else was to blame for that, only me. I had no appreciation for all the gifts that were right there in my own hands, but I didn't realize it. I am finally GRATEFUL for all that I have and do the best I can to love all I've got. I even appreciate being alive and that's something I haven't felt since a child. Nothing and no one was good enough for me until I lost almost everything. Hey, let's just enjoy everyday and stop fighting!ps I'm so proud of myself, I was invited by my Swim Coach to join the Master Swim program and I'm almost keeping up! We swim 2300 meters at the least and 54oo meters at the most 4-5 days a week, yea, me! (That's 46-108 laps at a time, wow). So I've gone from a marshmallow on a stick to a hotdog on a stick, and before you know it, I'm gonna be a turkey leg ~all muscle! It was So Hilarious ~after 3 weeks I was scratching my upper leg (ok, it was my behind!) and I thought, What's this? I felt something hard and, omg, I didn't recognize myself!!!I've been running with the "big dogs" this week. I ran 5.5 miles in one hour with a group of marathon runners and an Ironman triathlete on some rocky, hilly horse trails. It was AWESOME!I had no idea I could do it. I hope to keep it up and exceed my time, yeah! Biking next!!! Well, for the last 2 weeks, I've been able to exceed the 5.5 miles, by walking 1.5 miles as a cool down. Ya haha! This last week, my pace mate was quicker than me and really kept me running, what a workout!

My Interests

---worshipping singly and corporately, watching my kids grow, making and learning about Art, esp. Glassblowing~REALLY LOVE GLASSBLOWING, reading almost everything, gardening, working at my precious little Barber Shop, whistling, cooking (though I haven't done near as much as in the olden days), swimming, (just started taking Scuba diving at the University and God, I LOVE IT. I believe this will be a life-long passion, as I love swimming underwater anyway) enjoying the good outdoors, rain or shine, enjoying my kitty cat and other creatures, spending time with my great family.

I'd like to meet:

---just friends, esp. those who love God, are hungry for more of Him, love to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth and can't get enough of talking about His blessings and lessons. I also like stuff about the Art world. I want to create Art that will inspire Worship, whatever that will mean! ---as far as men, I just want more grandfathers and fathers and brothers and uncles

Music:

---I'm pretty much a Contemporary Christian fan, I enjoy KLOVE, 88.5 FM but any music is fair game if I'm in the mood to explore. My dad introduced us to all kinds, so I'm open-minded about music, I know a lot of the popular songs the young adults play 'cause it's often going in my Art classroom or car when Jane is driving.I still remember my dad playing an album of Russian music and my little brother squatting and kicking like a Russian dancer. We 6 kids had all the songs of South Pacific memorized, the funniest song was, "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" and on one night a week we all had to watch the Mitch Miller Band with the bouncing red ball. But I really liked the 70's music from my high school days. Color My World was "our song" that was great to slow dance to. I came to appreciate Country in the 80's when we would go to Street dances and Halls to drink a few beers and dance the "bump" to rock and roll.

Movies:

The Notebook MyGen Profile Generator

Television:

---haven't watched much at all lately, well, Miami Ink and So you think you can Dance, also shows about having babies, and lots of preaching, teaching and inspirational shows. I really enjoyed a show recently called Shape Up or Ship Out, about people going on a cruise ship to get in shape, like a fat farm/boot camp~very inspirational.

Books:

Right now I'm studying my Anatomy and Physiology books for this semester, trying to get a head start, POPaganda, (my daughter's boyfriend's uncle's life story- Artist, Ron English), Calvin and Hobbes, (what a dreamer, he's just like me! haha!) and any book (the Bible) that will furthur the Kingdom of God in my ♥heart. A special favorite these last ten years (and I'm still not finished!) is Bible Studies for the Preparation of the Bride, a study of the Song of Solomon, by Bob and Rose Weiner~awesome workbook.
