Chris Jones has been an established and recognised International DJ for the past 3 years, playing in top venues in Ibiza, Cyprus, Hungary as well as all around the UK including London favourites The Cross, Turnmills, Ministry of Sound, The Egg, Pacha and The White House.Since the birth of his new night MiMo back in December 2006, Chris is rapidly becoming one of the UK's most interesting djs and gaining bookings at venues up and down the country. His unique uplifting underground sound has enabled Chris to gain prestigous booking's outside of his MiMo calander like at the SLANNG and TENAX warehouse parties supporting the likes of Jesse Rose, Paddy Cell and Guido Schneider, Shane Watcha and Luciano. Chris has also gained support for his unique sound from Tania Von Pear airing a guest mix of his on her Ministry of Sound Radio show in June 2007! In December 2007 Chris was even on the same line up as Eric Morillo and David Guetta at MoS, plus been on flyers with Deepgroove, MYNC Project and Ketoloco!Throughout 2007 MiMo has grown from strength to strength with further bookings at The Cross and Turnmills. On top of this MiMo has established a residency at Mango in Reading. MiMo has also caused a stir amoungst some of the Worlds best talent attracting top guest djs like Seb Fontaine, Paul Harris, Mutiny, Tania Von Pear, Inland Knights and Graham Sahara (Pacha Ibiza)!
Last Summer Chris Jones stepped up his Ibiza presence by headlining the Cocoloco room on two occasions at the world's biggest club Privilege!Previously Chris Jones was known as one half of the Dirty Funk Munkees (DFM) who were acknowledged for their ever popular monthly Funky4Love residency at Pacha London. Funky4love has grown from a small backroom night to reaching capacity of one London’s hottest night spots. With the success of F4L , DFM, were given the overall control of the music policy by becoming head residents for Pacha’s Smoke nights.
