PRODUCER / ENGINEER

About Me

I started as a coffee runner at Bluejay Studios, a world class facility located outside of Boston. I began assisting top Artists varying in styles from Genesis to Pat Mathany, The Boston Pops Orchestra and everything in between. After gaining the confidence of several Producers, I began tracking, overdubbing and mixing. My years at Bluejay gave me a solid background of traditional recording as well as pop recording.I moved to New York City in 1987 and became a staff engineer at Electric Lady then The Hit Factory. While at The Hit Factory I worked primarily with Tom and Chris Lord Alge and Bob Clearmountain and engineered and assisted on too many projects to list, handling everything from tracking, overdubs and mixing. In 1989 I moved to Nashville, Tennessee where I continued working as an independent producer and engineer for a period of eight years. My clients ranged from American country and rock/pop albums as well as projects from Europe and Japan. In 1998 I moved to Miami Beach, Florida and made my home base at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas. I continued to work with new and current clients engineering and producing. In March 2001 I moved to Australia. Moving to Australia fulfils a life long dream of mine. I currently live just north of Byron Bay, New South Wales on the Tweed coast. I continue to produce and engineer both in Australia and in the USA.
