Biography
A lively and eclectic Sydney-based 5-piece from the Northern Beaches, Nardo blends rootsy rock and subtle pop to create their own distinctive Nardo sound. Both in the studio and on the stage, Nardo exudes a warm electric energy with soaring melodies and walls of harmony, at times peeling back to beautiful acoustic melancholy and moments of reflection through powerful lyrics. Having been influenced by a number of artists, Nardo constructs a diverse palette which is the cause for such originality, and from which so many of their written pieces have received their colour.Nardo have managed to record and produce their forth-coming and full-length debut album “When the Morning Comesâ€. Recording over two years at 301 Studios in Byron Bay has given the feature a warmth and sophistication that rises above the average ‘indie debut’. Time and intelligent production has helped to capture dynamically rich songs which will ring in your ears days after a single hearing, as well as being complex enough to find new substance after several listens.
