"Moody Intelligent Folk Jazz Blues"

About Me

ED Englerth has many years experience as an artist. He has written thousands of songs and has seen some success in his writing by having a few groups record and perform his songs. Ed is a pioneer in the Folk, Rock and Hard Rock scene playing in 70s bands such as Aslan and Earthen Vessel. Today though Eds style is a mix of folk, blues, jazz and experimental music. His compositions could easily be filed under thinking mans music. Intelligent song crafting is his strongest quality. Like modern day folk artists, he covers issues of faith, social justice, love lost & love found as well as songs dealing with struggles of life. His music is moody and has musical and lyrical depth that follows it. ED Englerth is a legend in this business. He has played music with; Joe English (Wings), Robin Robbins (Bob Seger), Jan Krist, Ben Brown, Jim Cole, Scott Roley, Dave Perkins, Donny Hartman, Aracely, John Lawry (Petra), Xalt, Armada, Aslan, Harvey Jet, Miranda Stone and Earthen Vessel. He is the founding member and songwriter for the band LAB (Linear Action Band). As a solo artist ED has several recorded projects. The latest CD is called "D.I.A.L. Business." Other CDs include "The Ed Englerth Jazz Quartet", "Anything But Hope", "Live at the State Grounds Coffeehouse", "Little Bit Of Me Everywhere," "Rational?," and "PINGO." Lately he's been hanging around a little with Ray White who has recorded over 20 recordings with Frank Zappa. Ed is very entertaining on stage. He blends both wit and wisdom with his entertainment enough that we come away entertained, amused and enlightened. Enjoy Ed as an intimate coffeehouse Americana musician, with just he and his guitar. He is also available to come with his band for a full-blown blues, rock and jazz experience. You need to have Ed Englerth for your next opportunity.
