WITH WILL SEXTON, RUBEN V AND THE RHYTHM SECTION FOR THE DIXIE CHICKS:REVIEW OF TAYLOR'S "WORTHLESS PURSUIT OF THINGS ON THE EARTH"
This is quite a hard album to put under a certain section. Its midwest, its modern and its powerpoppish, so therefor it ends up under this miscellanous section. Anyway - to the album then. Dont you guys love titles like this album? I do - but that isnt the reason I buy records. Nope its cause the album is supposed to be good also. And this album is. Like a cool mix between Del Amitri - kinda guitardriven rock in a mixture with let us say Palookaville with Glen Burtnick witha touch of modern stuff like a poppier Semisonic. Yepp - that what it is, and if you enjoy that sort of stuff - heres another guy to lean your ears to.
