The Vinyl Affair

NEW ALBUM Learning How to Die COMING SOON!

About Me

Somehow a folk-lover (david), a drummer (blake) and two metal heads(heath and jay), have gotten together to form a band that has nothing to do with any of those styles... and it's working?

I (david) had written most of these song already and was trying to start my solo project when these guys just kinda fell into my lap. We hung out one night about 4 or 5 months ago and have hung out every night since then. literally. Suprisingly enough, even though our styles and tastes are jarringly diverse, the sound we've found is one we can all agree on and belive in.

We've got big plans for this band, and if we can manage not to pull some idiot stunt and get ourselves killed, then i think we might just get there. I hope you like our music. I hope to see you at a show. And i hope you leave with an experience.

11.25.06. - Dave

In working on our first album i think i've learned a lot about the way i write. A poppy love song and a generic beat is so easily and offenly slappped down, and i don't want this project to be just an...

A good cause for the interested....One Life Revolution

I think it would be a tragedy for me to get to the end of my life and look back at the run that i had as an artist just to say, "well, those were pretty songs." I want to see that i had a purpose with...
