Brian Hess: Gezha Prime

Gezha Prime is Brian Hess, originally a native of Muncy, Pennsylvania, USA, and a trumpet player since grade school. He comes from a legacy of trumpet players, having played in small groups, bands, orchestras, symphonic bands, stage bands, chamber orchestras, rock and metal bands, big bands, industrial bands, the list goes on, all over the country.Currently, as trumpet player for "Ideofone," a Puyallup based band (Washington), Gezha Prime is his side project and outlet for experimental/electronic/lounge music. Brian combines trumpet, French Horn, guitars, bass, synthesizers and samples into a unique style entirely his own creation. Some reviews of his music have even stated that this music is it's own genre, quite possibly best described as "organica tech." The use of the organic with the synthetic definetly paints an entirely different picture and scope full of genres not normally cross-pollenated together.Influences on this project include, but are not limited to:King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Erasure, Propellor Heads, Aphex Twin, Messhuga, Candiria, J.S. Bach, Miles Davis, Chris Botti, Horace Silver, Sun Ra, and many more.
