Kenny Barron Solo "All The Things You Are"Transcriptio
I like to make music. I like to listen to music. And I like to talk music. That's me. I like music. If you like music, chances are high that I like you too. I started with Indian classical music in my early years studying tablas in India and then played trumpet through school for about a few years. As a horn player I performed at the Incirlik Base in Turkey and also at the Department of Defense Honors Classical Festival in Bad Kissengen, Germany. Most of the work here is jazz, but I have been through many phases as most guitarists do. While jazz is special to me, I would not venture to confine myself within a particular style only. I have performed internationally in Istanbul, Turkey, Poland (Warsaw International Jazz Festival), and in London (American School of London Jazz Festival). I studied guitar with Bora Uslusoy in Istanbul. I also enjoy cooking and sports: running, swimming, and rock climbing. I have done my undergraduate at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in sound engineering. I was involved in the mixing and production of all the music you hear. I'm really laid back, so feel free to drop me a line anytime
