Talos is a band formed by Nishkheed, Zach Mathias, and R. Fierfell in OCT of 2004.
The main goal of Talos at the time was to just record a few songs, let people listen to us and play a few shows. But the idea of Talos, in a way, has became an art form. We took all of our influences (ranging from Opera, Black Metal, Ambient, Death Metal, Industrial, and Doom) to create something that has never heard.
In 2005, Talos was invited to play there first show at "Perk Street cafe" on Halloween. The line-up of Talos at this time was Nishkheed, Zach Mathias, R. Fierfell, and Azog. Talos's singer at the time, Zach Mathias, was unable to attend the show due to legal issues, so Talos was forced to find a new singer a few DAYS before the show. We ended up having Azog do the main vocals, and Nishkheed doing clean backing vocals.
After Talos played in this show, Apolloyon contacted Talos saying that he was interested in playing bass for the band, if we were interested. A few days later, Apollyon was in the band along with Jósteinn who was doing vocals, Jósteinn is also the singer for (
Gravestorm )
The future for Talos was looking promising. We recorded a(n) EP entitled "Sleep Now Forever" which was released at OMF3 where Talos was one of the headlining bands for other artists such as Intestinal Strangulation, and Diskreet.
As time went on after a few small local shows following the OMF3 show, Talos was sent an invitation from RR-336 productions to play a show in San Antonia TX. The band was very excited about this show at first. After all the arrangements were made about how Talos was getting there and back, Talos for some reason.. started to fade away. Each member wanted to start doing new things with the band ranging from more Black Metal / Death Metal / Thrash / Techno / and Doom. This eventually led to the End of Talos.
Talos broke up DEC 23 in 2006, and was officially disbanded in January of 2007.

May 1st of 2007, Nishkheed has decided "what the hell, i should not destroy my band just because we had a few arguments." So, Nishkheed has decided to re-build Talos creating much more powerful music.
Once everything is worked out with the band as far as members, and music, we shall inform everyone.
