Mystyk is a musical band from
power-dark-metal background,
born in 2004 and featuring Yking (lead vocals & guitar),
shYvv (lead guitar, keyboards & backing vocals) and stYx (bass & electronics). From
various influences, Mystyk takes from trash, indus stuff,
and black metal with shades of cold wave and goth.
On its birth in 2004 Mystyk self produces a first 4-track
demo in order to fix the musical line going to define its
goals.
In 2005 the band decides to enhance the personal influences
of each musician by composing a second 5-track demo. The
rest of the year 2005 is used to the elaboration of the
live set and the scene works.
That's in the beginning of the year 2006 that Mystyk starts
sharing its experience with the public during concerts,
which will lead to the release of two video clips.
These positive experiences lead the band to work again in
order to accurate its studio compositions and live
performances.
In 2007, Mystyk came back to its historical formation and recorded its first album, 'The Deep Styx', featuring 8 power-dark-metal tracks with Geoffrey Fourneyron on e-drums.
