My name is Karl Hoffower.
I have been in health care for about 17 years. I retired from active practice in 2007. I strongly support the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, better known as CCHR.CCHR investigates and exposes psychiatric violations of human rights. CCHR is there here to help parents stop the pressure of the mental health industry to drug their children.
CCHR helps those who have been raped, abused, defrauded, over-drugged or kidnapped by psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors and any other mental health industry worker.
CCHR has been a loud voice looking into Child Protective Services/ Department of Family & Children Services wrongly accusing families of neglect. Social Workers are filing reports that families are unfit to raise their children, justifying the placement of children into Foster Care due more to the effects of poverty than genuine neglect.
Families are being ripped apart since a local County is paid more by State and Federal programs to place children into Foster Care than deliver Social Services which if offered would eliminate the reason the charge of neglect was made. Such as a low-wage, single mother who cannot afford child care from 3pm to 6pm while she works. If the Social Worker would just give the mother assistance with child care, the neglect charge would disappear.
Or the Grandmother who quits her job in another state and comes to the aid of her 3 grandchildren when their mother was jailed. The grandmother was told by social workers she must rent a larger home if she is to get the children out of a stranger's care.
It is less expensive to society and more compassionate to the children to have them cared for by their grandmother.
Yet the grandmother exhausted her savings busting her new lease to get a larger home only to be told she now had to buy separate beds in order to get the children released to her care.
The grandmother lost her chance to obtain custody and the children were lost into the system.
POVERTY MUST NEVER BE CONFUSED FOR NEGLECT.
The State of Texas issued a report in December 2006. Tens of millions of dollars are being spent in that state alone for the use of psychotropic drugs on foster children. The report (http://www.cpa.state.tx.us/forgottenchildren/) details how many children were on 7 -9 different psych drugs. One child was given 100 different psych drugs in one year. That isn't medicine. It is poisoning.
Psychiatrists do not have any blood tests, brain scans, MRIs, or chemical imbalance tests to prove if you have or do not have any mental disorder.
Psychiatrists push dangerous and addictive drugs to cover up the fact they have no idea what is wrong with a person's thoughts or emotions.
In 2005 the American Psychiatric Association President admitted there is no lab test for a psychiatric disorders.
Click on the video clip to the right to hear psychiatrists admit they do not have any real medical tests nor do they ever cure someone.
