About Me

I like to take pictures. I am an artist.

I'm old enough to know that most of the things we fret and worry about when we are young are inconsequential in the long run. (reference: high school popularity) My suspicion is that this doesn't change. What I worry myself about now will look silly in another 20 years.

I don't know anyone I could not talk to meaningfully. But I do know people I've no desire to talk to.

In a crisis, I behave like a general.

I know a lot more than most people know that I know.

I'm funny to women but men don't get my humor. it's weird.

I have three amazing children who have grown up to be awesome adults despite my inexperience and less than perfect parenting.

I believe strongly in past lives. (and future ones)

I love art and artists!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People fascinate me, both their stories and their movements. I will, if it's okay, take pictures of them. Often, I don't ask, I just shoot. Mostly people don't mind.

Ultimately people are just people and I'd love chances to meet and really know some of the famous ones on an everyday basis. Francis Coppola is the person right now I'd like to meet. Wouldn't it be cool to take photos of some of the people who are gone now?!

Life and such

A guy named Daniel Ahrendt put this in his journal on Deviant Art and it echoed so much how I feel at the moment that I just had to put it up. I've never been to China but I've had the same experien...
