Born and raised in the Bay Area of California, harold (Formerly known as "Villain"), has been rapping for a substantially long time considering he is only 22 years old. He started writing poetry as a young child and eventually ventured into lyrics at age 10. He refers to music as his "outlet" in a world and life in which he describes as, "mandatory to vent." To say that he has been influenced by the Bay Area lifestyle would be an understatement. He has lived in over 10 different cities including Richmond, Oakland, Hercules, Fairfield and most recently Vallejo. His perspective is by no means narrow as he was introduced to several environments as a child where he had to interact with people of different ethnicities, creeds, colors and religious beliefs. Therefore, as you might guess, his lyrics include a variety of topics, as he flows about everything from suicide, street life, hip hop as a whole, politics, his own personal demons, partying and whatever else inspires him. In the past 4 years he has performed at venues across the Bay and in Chico. In 2003 he performed at the Brickworks in Chico as an opening act for B-Legit. That may not mean much to the average rap fan, but if you were from the Bay it would mean a alot, as it did for him. Through all the ups and downs of the underground rap scene he has remained strong and versatile, improving his lyrical prowess, expanding his vocabulary and stepping up his production. His debut album "Pissed Off!" is set to release this fall under Pissed Off!/Crook-ed Army Entertainment. After graduating from De La Salle High School in Concord, CA as part of the Class of 2003 he moved to attend California State University, Chico where he studied Music Technology and Recording Arts. Now, he has returned to the Bay for this 2006 Hyphy Movement. His debut album, "Pissed Off!" is expected to be released in the Fall under his previous moniker, "Villain", along with other never before released material. Furthermore, Movement Music: The Mixtape, full of his fresh new style and swag is expected to really shake things up sometime soon...although he refuses to reveal its exact release date...
