D. Craney – aka Mr. Sandman was born in San Francisco, CA in the Bayview Hunters Point District. In 1996 Mr. Sandman released an E.P. called “10% Love Me 90% Hate Me†on Above All Records. The E.P. was produced by Black C of R.B.L Posse and Co-produced by The Enhancer. This album created a buzz in the Bay Area and in other cities and states throughout the U.S.In 1997, Mr. Sandman released the album “Out of Time†on Bayrider Entertainment. The album was distributed by Ichiban Records and produced by Sean T, Funk Daddy, Mr. Laid & Chill Black, Johnny Z, Black C and The Enhancer. Artists featured on the album were Staylow, Sean T, Young Erk, TayDaTay of 11/5, Crooked Path, Mac Shawn and Kaveo.In 2001, Mr. Sandman released the album, “Quicksand†on Bayrider Entertainment. The album was distributed by Bayside Distribution and produced by Sean T. of Dallas Squad Music. Artists featured on the album were Sean T, Mob Figaz,Tuffy, Delinquents, Levitti, Totally Insane, TayDaTay of 11/5, Freddy Chingaz, Yolanda, Big Chop, P. Water and Gemini.In 2002, Mr. Sandman released “10% Love Me 90% Hate Me†the album which was produced by Sean T. The Album was released on L.G.B records and distributed by City Hall Records. Artists featured on the album were Sean T,Jacka&Husalah of the Mob Figaz, Guce, Hittaz On Da Payroll,Amon,Tuffy, DTL, Mississippi, Freddy Chingaz, Papoose, Re-Akt and Mainy Mone.Mr. Sandman is currently in the studio working on his next project The Autobiography Of D.Craney...He also is the c.e.o of two companies one is a non-profit organization called Guns Down Mics Up& a record label called Faultline Muzik Group..the first release on the label will be his longtime folks Staylow his album will be called Best Kept Secret!!!
