JKWAN SINCE 2001YES! I AM A LOCAL CELEBRITY!!! ARE YOU AS FRESH AS JESUS?? I AM!!! WELL EQUAL.. Hey what’s up? It’s Personally JKwan(Jerica Crystal Kwan) the female rapper born in San Francisco, CA but raised in the suburbs of Foster City, CA and if you don’t know where that is it is located near San Mateo. My ethicities(Filipino, Asian, and Spanish) The only thing I dis-liked was that I did not get to go to school (Bowditch Middle School) where all of my friends went to in 6th grade where the entire Christian miracle happens to me. So it was the year of 2001(age: 11), where I did not attend to church daily or was saved by Jesus at the time. This is my true testimony I am telling you right now, if you are reading this biography about me. It all began when I was bored and was not interested in English (It was weird to me, 6th graders subject is ENGLISH?? Ha-ha. Weird) grabbed a blank sheet of binder paper and began writing down an actual rap, after finishing and editing it I read it back to myself as if I was rapping it out loud and was shocked that I had written a rap! I didn’t have many friends at ABBOTT Middle School but I did manage to stay in contact with 1 person who I became very close with and that person is my fan/friend/sister: Jennay aka Jenny and she’s been supporting me through out my life. We’ve know each other for about 8 years now. I haven’t seen her in a while but it’s all good. And her cousin is also another fan/big-sister/friend and I love them both!!! So after figuring out that I was a female rapper I began to freestyle during before school, during lunch, or even after school. Jenny was the first person that knew I was rapper but of course one thing gets to another that I was a rapper and so every one at my school kind of knew and then I met another rapper, his name was J he was very kool, I sat right next to him in computer class (Good old days) I wonder what happened to him?!. I loved rapping sooo much that I would start little raps every week that I began and write it into my little spiral note-book, that’s how it all began a spiral note book and now I’m using composition notebooks, CRAZY right??! I know tell me about it. Of course my best friends and other close friends had to know I rapped so I told them to. It was sad to leave Abbott and all of those kool people I met there, but I had to go back to the school where I knew every body. 7th grade began was confused and lost didn’t know where anything was because I didn’t go there during 6th grade, so my BF(Best Friend) Jenn taught me and mentored me where everything was located at and what was happening, the only thing that sucked was we never had any classes together. But everything worked out all right in middle school, nothing troubled me. From Elementary to Middle School to High School all of my teachers enjoyed me as there student and I have won many academic awards not even funny. So through out 7-8th grade at Bowditch I was spreading the truth and a beginning of my rapping hobby (But later turned into my career and who I want to become) After 8th graduation all of my close friends moved onto different high schools, and I went to Aragon High School (Which I am still attending for 1 more year: SENIORSSS!!!) and sadly in freshmen year I had only 5 friends who I hung out with at school, I joined the hip-hop club freestyled there many people liked my 6th grade rap, but I didn’t go to, to many of there hip-hop get-togethers was too busy… (During the school year, whether I have tons of projects or posters I’m always busy) During the summer time I went to the Camp Konocti (It’s a camp located in Clear Lake and I went for two whole weeks) Met a lot of people who enjoyed my little 6th grade raps and still keep in contact with some of them. I had fans every where: @ School, Camp, online, and soon later are became my family members: Aunts, Uncles, My dad, my 3 moms (You know who you are), Aragon HIGH SCHOOL STAFF and A LOT OF MY FRIENDS…Through out high school I’ve been loved by my teachers and they have been supported by them and I thank every body who has been doing that as well, without JESUS none of this would have happened! So I thank every body keep on supporting me, whether you’re a fan, a friend, or just somebody who loves music as much as I do. Just this coming summer of 08' I get to help promote Zion I (Zumbi and DJ Amp Live) I actually met these two guys at SF state and I rapped infront of these two great guys! My good friend Shireen I love her a lot she's the best! I thank her because without I would have never got this oppurtunity to experience what the other side of the world is like in the music industry, especially because I am an artist and trying to make it big in the world and I love the world but right now it just needs to be saved just like many people need to be saved by JESUS! So I get to help promote with there new shows, new music, concerts, maybe video shoots, and many more to come. Right now, I have 4 Compostion note books aka Rhyme books that are about my life and how I matured into what I am today. It's funny I switch back and forth on whether or not I'm good at writing new rap songs because right now I'm really good at freestyling and not writing new raps, before I was so-so on the freestyling and was better on the binder paper! haha.. I guess it just changes. In 2006, I began to write a little of R&B, rock-roll, and Gospel and just blended it with hip-hop/rap. In 2004, when I first went to a real Christian concert(BATTLE CRY) with my 2nd mom in San Francisco with my 2nd long going- church for a while until I began going to Sturge Presbyterian Church which is located in San Mateo. And after going to that concert realized that I wanted to rap about God and so that is when I finally called myself a Christian rapper! After leaving the Fathers House Church, I went to Twin Oaks Church for a while and ended up going back to the Bay Church but everybody at the TWIN OAKS CHURCH, I LOVE THEM ALL!!! Everybody there have been supporting me till this day, and they are like my 3rd family, I have soo many families it is not even funny. I have 4 mom's, 1 dad, and 12+ (combo. of little sisters and big sisters so it all depends, lost count haha) and 1 little brother. I love everybody that is in my life today, they have kept me alive and that includes JESUS! My Father God!!! I LOVE YOU!!!
