The first serious rap artist from his hometown Fallbrook, SD. Cals is a powerful young lyricist bringin you that hard West Coast delivery with an above the law feel constantly smashing on the system and breaking down the color barrier. Cals spits thought provoking real life lyrics over hard hitting West Coast beats. With his creative rhyme style, catchy hooks, professional recording/ production, and incredible work ethic he continues to pursue his dream of making a name for himself in this rap game. May 5, 2004 Cals was working construction in Chicago and fell 20 feet through and air duct to the concrete landing on his back fracturing 6 vertebraes in his cervical and lumbar spine. After having a Halo Brace screwed into his skull to hold his broken bones in allignment he made his way back to San Diego. After a few weeks of recuperation and getting to be more mobile in his brace past and the harsh reality that he would probably never be able to do most physical labor again Cals began taking his rapping more serious than ever before. Constantly writing on many sleepless agonizing nights about his everyday struggles. Next the recording sessions started in friends bedrooms and living rooms with the headphones upside down through the bars of the Halo. These sessions continued for another year and a half and as he got stronger and healthier so did his Flow. After the summer of 2006, Cals decided enough with the home recordings and into a professional studio and enviroment.
