Alias the 93 child prodigyIf you were to ask Joh-Well to write his autobiography ,he would start like this:
my name is Winyjoel St-cilien Baptiste and I am a Haitian bastard born from a rape in the streets of paris. It doesnt seem like an encouraging way to start writing the tale of your own life ,but it is the truth and if there is one thing that this heavy hitting former boxer never façade, is the truth, especially when it comes to his life.
He was indeed born in France (an haitien mother &unknown father)where he grew up to live 95% of his life. His love for Hip-Hop developed at a very young age , ten to be exact. Because of his love for this music he started to breakdance. A year later he moved to Noisy champy project(center of paris) which he claim was a pivotal point of his life. There he hooked up with the then, local star but now certified breakdancing world champion: Wanted crew. They helped him take his dancing skill to the next level and with the help of his long time partner Cheick thiam Diallo (that he call his brother)he put together his own dancing crew called: FAZ.K.CHE-les 1.10.6pline moving crowd for French artists such as gued1(ménage a 3).
Eventually ,after being constantly surrounded by some of the biggest names in the French Hip-Hop community (la brigade) it inspired him to do music. He then decided to move to NYgo to school to study studio engineering and the art of music production .
In 2000, his friend Nango Thiam gets fatally stabbed in the heart . This tragic event totally changed his visions of things and he decided to give up music to devote himself to God.
Its in a Brooklyn church that Joh-Well hooked up with Bennchoumy ,a well known artist in the Haitian community and the two connected right away. One day the sheperdz' member heard him freestyle and was impressed by his lyrical skill. He asked him if he could lay his mellow voice on a track ,and although winyj wasnt sure ,because he didnt feel like the recording act was really his field, he came through and wrote the entire song without putting anything on paper. After this accomplishment Bennchoumy insisted that he takes part of new independent project that he was putting together: the Ching-Cheeng movement. He had since work on multiple movies and commercial project @ big studios such as Crushing records, and is finishing up his solo album titled music:my drug
He is now a devoted member of the CHING CHEENG CLAN,repping the colors of his flag (the HAITIAN red and blue) and his zip code 93 160.Quote:the color of my passeport doesnt define the blood that runs into my veinsI edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
