Yes, amberRose Marie is set to make waves and will be a household name before long! amberRose Marie is off to a great start which began when she met up with DJ’s from all over the world at the International DJ Expo sponsored by DJ Times and Pioneer in Atlantic City. Then it was off to Las Vegas for the Billboard Dance Music Summit where she performed at the Artist Panel at the Palms Resort & Casino, The Empire Ballroom for the Vegas Music Experience, and for the radio man himself, Harry Towers of Deet Promotions for a jammed packed room filled with radio and club DJ's who spin at the biggest American nightclubs and top radio stations. With a mega photo shoot with the reknowned Jimmy R. Smith under her belt, her edgy hard hitting voice atop pumpin’ dance beats and strong songwriting skills are sure to catapult her into the hearts of party goers everywhere!
On indie, Catz Entertainment, the first single release is “Destiny†with lyrics “come and see what I mean…you’re my destiny†and "come on boy, I'm gonna make you mine", boasts production by the San Antonio, Texas hitmaking producer/remixing team Klubjumpers (Dan Mathews and Sam Michaels) and hailing from Da Bronx big room party maker, John Rizzo & Barry Huffine, Norty Cotto from Rihanna fame and just about every hot song on the radio and eastcoast, radio maven Giuseppe D. And the icing comes from one of our fave producer/remixers Georgie Porgie, a special Sam Michaels Elecktro Klubjumpers mix, and a Corey D. kewl-out mix. This second group of remixes released to DJs, will be commercially available in the coming weeks. Each mix is just as strong as the next! According to Catherine R. Laporte, “we are delighted to introduced amberRose to the world and are very excited for her. She creates excitement wherever she performs. Having already performed during Party105 Mega Jam without a record deal and with local support from hometown top 40 station 106.1 BLI, amberRose Marie songs can be described as radio friendly, with a club edge. We found this flashy, down-to-earth "country diamond" in Brooklyn, New York where she operates a country-styled Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Our first stop with Debbie Dangerfield included a showcase during "Country Takes New York, when the Country Music Association made a grand debut in New York City! Performing to a standing room only with her band, Debbie put all on notice, that she will be around for a very long time. Dangerfield is no stranger to country music having performed the rodeo circuit and engagements with the Black Cowboys. Debbie Dangerfield will make her Nashville debut during the summer of 2007 with a set of traditional songs and cuts from Memphis and Nashville newcomers too!

It all began for Martha at the age of two in her parents' church in her native San Francisco. Martha honed her big voice, when she went on to study opera and tour Europe while still in high school. Martha Wash became part of a contemporary gospel group called N.O.W. (News of the World). This mix of classical and gospel training accounts for Martha's seemingly effortless transition from strong deep ballads, to pop dance music, to gospel and everything in-between!
In addition to Martha's vast career in pop music, Martha has also starred in major theater productions such as Andre Heller's "Body & Soul" and David E. Talbert's "Love on Lay-Away". From theater, a natural progression was found when Martha recorded numerous jingles and movie soundtracks for major motion film, such as Kiss Me Guido, First Wives Club, Mighty Ducks and Gung Ho. Martha has performed in major concert halls and for heads of state, to the halls of the White House, when she performed for former President Bill Clinton and Mrs. Clinton (now Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton). One of the most revered performances Martha recalls was when she joined forces with Jim Papoulis (composer) in his project called "Sounds of a Better World, Small Voices Calling". The CD is a unique series of songs, a hybrid of pop, orchestral, world beat and gospel. The project was inspired by the image of children confronting a world they did not create, facing a future they must shape and embrace. Says Martha, "I was honored to perform the first single released from this collection entitled, "Listen to the People" at Carnegie Hall. That was a tremendous thrill!" Always one to answer the call of charity, Martha has done considerable work over the years, especially in the area of HIV & Aids prevention. She is requested on a regular basis to help raise funds for local and national organizations.
Yes, Martha is noted for her many voices…those voices add up to one big-hearted Diva, in the true sense of the word...her heart is as big as her voice! Martha is one Diva, who truly practices what she preached in her early disco hit, "Earth can be just like heaven", give a little…take a little, put a little back…we are all brothers and sisters, and that's a fact"!
