Laila (aka Sylvia Begum) born 1986 in North London - United Kingdom
Laila has been performing and developing as an artist / performer since 1995. Through the lack of support while growning up on the constant move, pushed herself to engage in various projects to gain skills in various areas of performing arts.
Laila has been trainning as a vocalist and Actress since 2000 and gaining singer / songwriter experiance through projects with 'Camdens People Theatre', 'Round house' and 'WAC' performing arts school as well as other collaborations with artists and producers.
In order to grow as a performer Laila also has seeked experiance in Physical Theatre, drama, music tech, vynology and street dance (recent member of the STAMPEDE dance group www.myspace.com/stampede_girls - One to watch out for!) which has givern her the confidence when it comes to entertaining.
Laila is currently studying to gain a degree in Music and media managment and marketing as well as trying to push her music and gain a better understanding of the music industry behind the spotlight.
