Relentless Crew/R.C. are the latest Hip Hop group straight from da big UK! With their roots mainly from North London, the 3 members each add something different to the mix;
Castro - known for his energy on the mic, as well as the tendancy to drop the odd verse in spanish, he brings a hype element to the crew, combining clever lyrics with a hard delivery!
K-O - known for his clever wordplay and flow, this crew member takes pride in spittin crushing punchlines and flowing seamlessly with a beat!
Odin - known for his hard hitting delivery and unique sound, theres no mistaking this member. Whether its in a freestyle battle or on a track, his flow and sound are as hard hitting as ever!
Each member has been spittin lyrics on a mic for years, however decided to come together and form a crew in late 2004. From then they have been learning to blend together to form what is a breath of fresh air in the UK Hip Hop scene. Unlike many other crews, each member has a very unique sound and there is no mistaking one for the other. They each bring something different to the table, which garuntees you will never get bored of hearing them. They like to think of themselves more as songwriters, rather than just MCs. They create songs, not just mindless bar after bar.
R.C. have been busy in the studio for the last year or so recording a variety of tracks. In the words of K-O: "We wanna make tunes dat people feel...dat bring out somin in people. Whether its a tune to get u thinkin...one dat gets u angry, one dat makes u feel good, we wana bring it out. So many people make tunes with no concepts, no story, no meanin...I dont see da point!".
The R.C. have an album in the works which they are just finishing up to be released in the first half of 08 which will showcase the different styles of songs they can create. They are also in the studio recording a number of mixtapes and other collaborations, so rest assured, 2008 is definately gonna be their year!
