Born and raised in East London Rydacoo is pursuing his passion and dream driven by his true talent as a MC/Rapper. Having grown up at a time when East London’s crime levels were high and rising, it is an underestimation to say that he has experience of life and the streets.
2pac, Biggie, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris to name a few have been the inspiration behind the truly talented and lyrically gifted Rydacoo. Turning to music at a young age he Rydacoo found the space to release feelings and expose situations and circumstances in which he was dwelling within his lyrics.
Having performed with the likes of DJ Sky, DJ Magic man and participating in street side lyrical clashes, Rydacoo began his road to building himself as a respect MC/Rapper. But the talent does not just stop at the lyrical front, Rydacoo is working on his ability to produce music, so watch this space.
Unlike others Rydacoo swayed away from the trend of sending in demos and mixtapes to record labels, he preferred to walk through his life with such confidence of his abilities and talents that he was prepared to wait for the moment when his dream was to become reality.
As a teen Rydacoo was criticised for being an asian MC, but as strong individual who is little disheartened by others opinions he thrived on his determination and excelled to a point where today he stands to the envy of those who in the past looked down at him. Rydacoo’s background gives him the edge in the unique way he is able connect with people from all walks of life through his music. This experience intertwined with his personality and now equips him with a powerful weapon of depth and meaning in his lyrics, his words reach out to the youth of today.
In 2004, Rydacoo and childhood friend Flex joined MRB X. At only 17 years of age, they dropped GIVING ME STARE, a track the music scene werent ready for, with the video relieving solid airplay on Channel U (No.2), B4U Music and Zee Music
The duo released their debut track “Giving Me Stare†in the UK in December 2006 and due to high public demand, The success of “Giving Me Stare†has sent shock waves through the music industry and there is anticipation surrounding the launch of “MRB-Next level†album, which will be showcasing their wider range of talents, bringing out the freshest beats from a spectrum of genres including RnB, HipHop, Grime and Bhangra produced by AK1 and several top producers from the UK with collaborations with top names from the UK and US.
