Renegade was born and bred in the mean streets of Leyton where crime is so normal, you wouldn't even know you committed it from a young age from vandalising, shop lifting to even doing drugs. "The most funniest things that happened in my childhood was either shop lifting chocolate bars, look don't judge me I was deprived. Or the time I pulled out a shank on some boy who snitched on me when I was in Infant School. Sybourn Brap!". He had both parents that that wanted the best for him and didn't lack in good parental skills but when poverty kicks in, it can change a person. No matter how hard they tried, poverty always won. Poverty bring depression, depression leads to not giving a fuck about anything to smoking drugs to becoming anti-social and some crime to make money. "Don't get me wrong whenever I did something wrong my mum beat me. I was more scared of my mum then police." He might not have been the biggest person on the streets but he would never back down and is always there when his ‘mandem’ needed him. He remembers the first and only time he got jacked when he was 14, that evidently got him to buy and carry a knife in school the next day, of this he says "look, I aint proud of that but how is a 14 year old boy going to protect himself from 8/9 olderz and a person who's pointing a knife at you? I would be dead before police comes and saves me coz these people don't ramp in the bits. That why I did what I had to do, that prick inspired me and he's lucky I aint seen him since." Musically he was inspired by Tupac Shakur and it went from remembering his lyrics to writing his own but this was only for a hobby. He began thinking more and more about taking music seriously after a local MC/Rapper made a ‘diss’ song towards him forcing him to make a retaliation song. This eventfully got him recognised by his friends and local people around the area noticing his hidden talents. "I look back at that and I was shiiiit". Spending almost all of his time and energy on music resulted in him dropping out of his colleges, but this never faded him because he didn’t see life working nine to five but rather go for the quick money making schemes. He was intelligent enough to do well in college, it was just that for him at the time he had no vision for his own future but reguardless of this he has learnt to harness this into his lyrics. The knock downs he faced in the past has only given him the determination to want it all and saw the sleepless nights as a chance to better his ability. He once said, “No doubt critics help you improve, I thrive on them. I got enough to make me into a product.” As the years went on Renegade continued to improve and now has proved himself as an indispensable and distinguished talented artist showing his unique flows and smart lines, catchy choruses and the ability to ‘sing rap’ on point has been the backbone for the music. This is an artist looking to take the UK Hip Hop industry to the world so he can show that the UK does have talent and that they can compete with US Rappers to be successful. High ambitions has set his mind to be number one and constantly in the game to bring the UK quality to the international level instead of just being a rapper that makes a song then fade out. Already been though a lot in the music industry from fake producers saying they will to help him release a song to shit 'out there' producers saying "'Fallen Angel's' instrumentals shit, lemme do the production" cats to get all the credit and a piece of the pie he gives advise to new artist, "Watch out for cats, people that chat shit and make themselves look big and remember no-ones gona open doors for you, you gotta fuck the key, turn your back and make it on your own!"Big up to my Huslin' Mandem everytime [not just the music people, those who rep us] and all thanks to our manager Bash Khan for the work and money he put in, our success will not have been done without your help.
