The One by One foundation was founded on Ian's (milhous)Birthday, 2006. Ian and I decided that we needed to do something to help our friend Danarchy, who had just lost everything he owned in a fire, because he had no insurance and no one to fall back on. We had such a fabulous time raising money for him that we thought, " Hey, we should do this more often!"
We are now in the process of becoming a non-profit organization, so that we can continue to help people in our community! There are so many of us out there that don't have insurance, and we are the people that everyone needs to continue to have a good time! Without people that work in the service and music industry's, life for people in Seattle would suck!
