These days, hardcore is a buzzword, a convoluted mess wrapped in make-up, fashion and a false sense of machismo. Lessons in Regret is a band that's built on punk rock ethics of bands such as Bad Brains and Minor Threat, while simultanously paying a musical homage to '90s stalwarts like Botch and Drive Like Jehu. Lessons in Regret is here with a message for the kids who are listening with their eyes and not their ears.
