The sound of HawkBlade is an amalgam of many cultural influences, from reggae to hip-hop, from new age to folk. Much of the diversity is apparent in the collection of uncommon instruments the duet uses.
Xavier Hawk has travelled the world and picked up didjeridoos, various hand percussion, and a Native American flute -- not to mention some impressive and diverse vocal techniques.
Flint Blade plays instruments on the cutting edge of development and innovation, hand-made in America and pushing the boundaries of what a single player can do.
Together they merge rustic, tribal sounds with beautiful, twinkling harmonies; a sound that inspires dance while nourishing the soul.
