Khadafi Hey Bio

Dada, born Ibrahiim khadafi Dixon, is a young emcee striving to have fun. He’s the result of a musical union. He’s parents, who meet in Atlanta, GA., mother, who draws and plays keyboard and father, who is the one and only Papi Hey of The 2Gran Rebels and of 2Gran Production. He has also inherited instrumental skills from both of his grandfathers, ones an African percussionist and the other plays the standard drum set. He's been surrounded by music all his life, picking up a pair of drum stick at the tender age of 3 and African drum and dance at 4. After watching his father and listening to him and his friends rap, he wanted piece of the action. In 2004 he started to sharpen his skills with freestyle after freestyle. In the summer of '06 he put his destiny in his own hands and said to his father 'I want to do a song', then a month later 'Hot Cheetos' was in the cd deck. No longer than a week later all his family, friends, and neighborhood children and classmates were singing along. He lives in Atlanta and currently in the process of recording his debut album entitled 'Ibrahiim(e-bra-heem) which is set to release in early '07. Even as a young'n in the game, Khadafi is a very busy man. He has performed at the sweet Auburn Festival '04(Atlanta,Ga.) and at The Afrikan street festival '06(Nashville,Tn.) He's also the go to act for school talent shows, birthday and holiday parties. Watch out for the kid, he's soon to be a household name. Southwest Atlanta, what more can I say.
