“Passion is either already in the blood, or you have to put it there.†And Fusion Of Da Elements was born with it.
Shrien was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Jamaican parents. He spent many years in Jamaica, where he also attended high school. After returning to the United States, Shrien’s interest in music developed considerably. Coupled with emceeing, Shrien’s talent also lies in making beats, of a different nature. Blending traditional Hip Hop with currents from the Underground, Reggae, and Soul, Shrien’s beats are carefully constructed to match an artist’s mood (subtle, harsh, heartfelt, beautiful, and dangerous). Shrien is well-known for his motivational and inspirational aura, which he uses to assist other artists.
Grace is the writer of the group. Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Grace marches to a beat that is definitely her own. Grace’s writing skills began early in her high school years, where many professionals observed her genius. However, it wasn’t until Grace had undergone some life changes when she realized she was born to be a writer and a poet. As a result, she penned her first novel. Thereafter, she recorded her first poetry album, “The Wallâ€. However, with fiction never far from her heart, Grace has completed her second novel.
Shrien and Grace teamed up with the talented Tafari to produce the innovative and uncompromising, "Hip Hop & Poetry Fusion" album. Tafari is an emcee whose skills knows no bounds, and to prove this point, he is heavily featured on the cd. Straight outta Brooklyn, New York, he brings completion to the team. When asked what's next from Fusion Of Da Elements...they'll tell you readily, "Just wait and see". One thing's for sure - there's something brewing.
